The stage is set for Northern Health’s highly anticipated Mental Health Division Forum on specialisation in psychiatric treatment for inpatient mental health units, happening on Tuesday, 11th November 2025.

With a dynamic program featuring leading voices in psychiatry, medicine, and lived experience, this full-day event promises to spark meaningful conversations about the past, present, and future of mental health care. From novel triage models to specialist services for women’s mental health, the forum will explore how targeted approaches can transform outcomes for patients and providers alike.

The program includes keynote presentations from Professor David Copolov AO, Dr Gareth Goodier, Professor Tim Lambert, and many more, culminating in a panel discussion that invites all disciplines; medical, nursing, allied health, and lived experience to contribute their perspectives.
